About Us
The Queen's Psychology Department Student Council is a group of dedicated undergraduate students serving the Queen's psychology student community. Spanning both the Arts and Science faculties, we provide a wide variety of services to all Queen's students either majoring or minoring in the psychology department. Comprised of twenty-three members, each with unique responsibilities, the psychology DSC strives to assist psychology students of all years in a multitude of ways, offering peer mentorship services, social and academic events, and blog writing opportunities.

Blog Submissions
To submit a blog post pitch to the Queen's University Psychology Department Student Council, use the contact form of the website. Complete the form with your name and student email. In the contact form, provide a 200-300 word proposal that includes the topic of your blog post, your objective (e.g., to inform, engage, or inspire), and your target audience (e.g., psychology students, faculty, or the broader Queen's community). Briefly outline the main points you plan to cover. Ensure your pitch is original, as plagiarism will not be accepted. After reviewing for clarity and grammar, submit your pitch. The Student Council's Blog Coordinators will review it and respond with feedback or approval within 1-2 weeks. For any questions, contact the Council via the provided form or email.
